Firefox crashes after trying to launch
So, ever since the first time I used Firefox, this is the only time it has ever been rendered unusable.
I upgraded my system and, when I tried to launch Firefox, all it can ever do is crash before being able to load anything at all.
I'm not sure what Firefox version it is because I only used apt-get upgrade, didn't monitor the upgrade, and was never able to check it but I think, it's 10.0.2. My system runs on Joli OS 1.2, by the way.
Anyone who can help me, please.
Right now, I am getting by with Google Chrome and I am not enjoying how I am unable to use those add-ons I've always had.

Hi again MJae,
What device are you using ?
(is it a netbook computer or a phone for instance)
The system details aside show the OS as XP, but I presume that is a separate machine that you have used to post this message on, is that so?
Have you looked at firefox crashes and tried using safe mode
Guess I didn't notice the automated tags.
I'm using an Asus Eee PC 701.
The one I'm using right now is a different computer. I'm actually browsing using Aurora. It's not mine.
I was reporting about my netbook. Like I said, it runs on Joli OS 1.2.
There's no useful help in the Firefox crashes page.
There is no way I can go to about:crashes because it Firefox crashes before it can load anything. Neither can I do safe mode - I'm not sure I know how to do that before launching Firefox first.
May I suggest you look again at firefox crashes for instance it includes:
You can't open Firefox because it crashes at startup even in Safe Mode:
Go to ~/.mozilla/firefox/Crash Reports/submitted.
In the resulting folder will be a text file for each crash report you have submitted. Using the View menu, arrange them by date to find out which is the newest file; and double-click on it to open it.

N.B. use the selector button +
so that you see the linux version from your XP
linux version link -> firefox crashes
(You will then need to reset the mozilla cookies on your xp so that, by default, it goes to Windows versions of kb articles again in future)
