restore session did not work and I get mostly blank tabs

1. I had to once again RESTORE session when Firefox automatically opens when I start my computer (which I do not want) Twice now, only 2 or 3 of these have loaded and the others have been blank tabs. Once I did not even get tabs or restore session but one new tab and I lost all my tabs therefore. Now I lost 7 out of 10 again by them being blank.

more options

type in the address bar about:config

then press the button i'l be careful i promise

then type in the bar browser.startup.page

then double click on it and change the value to 3

press OK, exit firefox and restart.

The next time you open Firefox, everything will be restored to the previous browsing state, 3 tabs or 4 tabs or....

about:config is a feature of Mozilla applications which lists application settings (known as preferences) that are read from the profile files prefs.js and user.js, and from application defaults. Many of these preferences are not present in the Options or Preferences dialog. Using about:config is one of several methods of modifying preferences and adding other "hidden" ones, and always requires some caution in this area.
