Is it impossible to get my Google Toolbar back? I counted on that to easily go into my calendar, gmail, etc. Didn't know Firefox5 was married to Yahoo..

Just downloaded Firefox 5 and want my Firefox4 back. Now I no longer have the google toolbar to make my calendar and email quickly accessible. Is there any solution? Otherwise, I guess I'll have to go back to using IE.

Firefox has no association with Yahoo.

Many users have regained functionality of the Google toolbar by installing the following add-on. Google needs to test the toolbar with Firefox 5, then change one small item in their code that indicates with which versions of Firefox the toolbar is compatible. Google and other developers had many weeks during Firefox testing to make the necessary change(s) but failed to do so. Developers know how to find Firefox release schedules and test versions; it is not a secret. Add-on Compatibility Reporter adds a "Compatibility" button to the "More..." display in the Add-ons > Extensions display.

Google Labs has been working on a GTB 8 version, but it looks like it isn't made for Firefox - just for Internet Explorer.

So, maybe Google isn't going to be supporting Firefox any longer. That might be a move to force Google Toolbar users over to Google Chrome, which I believe has all those features built-in.
