Hi,

TB96 introduced a new address book. The only information shown in the right pane when browsing/search contacts is: - email address - phone numbers - addresses

But anything else like url, notes, and other fields are not shown by default. And I couldn't find any settings allowing me to choose which fields are to be visible in the contact view. Can this be improved?

Also I cannot search for anything in the Notes field. Can we add the Notes and other fields to the search index?

Thanks

Thunderbird 96 is a development build and as you have observed the new address book is still evolving

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the pointer. I wasn't sure how and where to provide feedback on the beta.

I stumbled on topicbox before but it felt like it was more for "experienced contributors" rather than some lambda user having weird wishes for the next version.

I will now hop to the topicbox.com for this.

Thanks
