The web site https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2020-09/asu-cem091120.php does not display all information and the Print and Email links do not work. There is additional information in panels on the right side when displayed in Edge but not in FF.

Try zooming out while in the page. Just click the three lines on the top right side and scroll to zoom options. Then click - and or + to zoom out and or in.

Ok, the rest of the page will display if I zoom out but the Print and Email functions still do not work. When I called support for a different web site, I do not remember which, the tech said the functions only work in IE, Edge, Opera, and some others. When I used IE the Print and Email worked as they should. I'd prefer to use FF but there is this minor limitation.

The print button on that article doesn't do anything more than what you can do by pressing Ctrl+p. The reason it may not work is that it requires a script from AddThis, which is blocked by Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection feature and/or by anti-tracking add-ons. They also are involved in the Email function, so that button doesn't work for the same reason.

Is there any workaround? I can use Ctrl+P to print but what about Email?

When you suspect content is blocked:

(A) Check the "shield"

There is a shield icon at the left end of the address bar. If it's purplish instead of gray, Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection feature is blocking content in the page. Click the shield and click the slider switch to disable protection. More info: Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox for desktop

(B) Check add-on buttons

Extensions such as Adblock Plus, Blur, Disconnect, DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials, Ghostery, NoScript, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin or uMatrix usually provide a toolbar button to manage blocked content in a page. There may or may not be a number on the icon indicating the number of blocked items; you sometimes need to click the button to see what's going on and test whether you need to make an exception for this site.

P.S. I never give my friends' email addresses to websites or tracking services like AddThis. I always grab the URL from the address bar if I want to share it.
