I've reset the outgoing server password for my earthlink.net email but it won't connect! Incoming mail is fine
When I try to send an email TB prompts me for a new password. I enter and click save by Password Manager but it doesn't work. And then I keep getting the error message that TB cannot connect to outgoing server and to check server settings. I don't see any problems with the settings

password errors usually mean problems other than passwords.
A very common issue for Americans is the use of a VPN which tends to break their email sending ability as their ISP now thinks they are not connected from the ISP's network and refuses to send mail for them.
Otherwise, what are you mail settings. Please add the troubleshooting information to your post To find the Troubleshooting information:
- Open Help (or click on three-line-icon and select Help)
- Choose Troubleshooting Information
- Use the button Copy to clipboard to select all. Do not check box "Include account names"!
- Paste this in your post.
