I am tired of the mess that Yahoo mail is. I have opened an account with gmail. I would like to transfer my folders from yahoo mail to my gmail account so that that information is not lost. Can you help?

I would try opening the Settings of your gmail account on the Gmail website, Accounts and Import, Import mail and contacts. The 'Check mail from other accounts' option can also be used to collect old and/or new messages from other accounts.

If you have Yahoo mail that is on your computer but not on the Yahoo server, and both the Yahoo and Gmail accounts are set up in TB, messages can be transferred by drag and drop. This works best if the number of messages is not too large.
