imap quota warning but I've cleaned up already and usage is very low
I am getting an IMAP Quota warning (101%) on one of my gmail email accounts. I've read the articles on cleaning up and avoiding IMAP Quota problems and have done what I can to delete and move emails. But my Space Usage report shows that I am only using 36MB for this account which seems really small. (my main Gmail account is using 8.8Gb and I am not getting a warning there.)
what have I missed or where can I turn?
Peter

Gmail will also save all emails both sent and received in the 'All Mail' folder.
Deleting an email from a folder does not necessarilly delete the email from the 'All Mail' folder.
Basically, all mail, incoming and outgoing is saved in the 'All Mail' folder. Labels can be applied to create a visual effect of appearing to be in other folders eg: Inbox or any you create.
So deleting an email from eg: Inbox merely removes the 'Inbox' label and leaves the email still in 'All Mail'.

Got It. turns out my Gmail account was a complete mess. 15gb completely maxed out. Gmail is not very clear about under which folders emails are saved, so I had to go folder to folder and clear each one out. Slow but worthwhile.
