Sorry to hear about the crashes. Are you getting the Mozilla Crash Reporter dialog, or the Windows crash dialog? If you are getting the Mozilla Crash Reporter form, your Firefox may have logged some data that would help track down the cause of the problem. You can submit that data to Mozilla and share it with forum volunteers to see whether it points to the solution. Please check the last section of the support article "Firefox Crashes" for steps to get those crash IDs from the about:crashes page, and then post some of the recent ones in a reply.

I have and submitted them EVERY TIME!!!! I have gone through the tips for troubleshooting, including updating Firefox and Adobe. I am over this!!!

If, after the above, you are still having problems, Disable Webroot. A number of users have traced their problems to Webroot.

Some of these crashes are very widespread, by which I mean, affecting many users. However, it's not so clear when they occur. When I look at the comments users are submitting with these crashes, some seem closely related to sites that use Flash, which you mentioned in your original post.

Try disabling the protected mode feature of the Flash player plugin. That feature has security benefits, but seems to have serious compatibility issues on some systems. There is a hidden setting to disable it; I suggest trying this for a day to see whether it helps:

(A) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.

(B) In the search box above the list, type or paste flash and pause while the list is filtered

(C) Double-click the dom.ipc.plugins.flash.disable-protected-mode preference to switch its value from false to true.

This might not take effect until all Flash has been unloaded for a few minutes, or you close Firefox.

Three user comments also mentioned having recently installed Webroot or scanned with Webroot. There is another active crash thread in the past day or so involving Webroot. You might at least try disabling the extension, although this might not address the issue fully. You can do that on the Add-ons page. Either:

• Ctrl+Shift+a
• "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then you can find and disable Webroot on the right side.

Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

One of the crashes was caused by a bug that is fixed in Firefox 39, which is schedule to be released Tuesday.

Could you click a few more crash reports on the about:crashes page to submit the report to the Mozilla breakpad server and post a few more reports that have a bp- prefix?
