recently we are facing this issue when working on web application, during the page loading when i click on other page/tab then it refreshes the same page to me which is getting loaded. But when the page gets loaded completely then web application behaves normally that is i am able to navigate to other pages/tab. Do you have this preference selected?: "Don't load until tabs are selected" in this menu: Firefox Menu > Options > Tabs

I had this option selected but when unselected then also i am facing the same issue. Also i would like to mention here is that when i say not able to open other page/tab then it's relevant to web application page/tab. Please let me know if you any other suggestions.

I'm not sure I understand what you are opening in the different tabs. Here is one possibility:

Are you opening multiple copies of the identical URL in different tabs? Based on some testing I did in the following thread, Firefox will wait for the previous request to complete before sending the second request for the identical URL.

Cannot load multiple tabs simultaneously (discussion starting Oct. 10th)

This means that if a page loads slowly, you have to wait for it to load in the additional tabs. Is that the problem?

Thanks for your response! This is not related to identical tab/URLs. This is related when during the time span of my web application page is loading and before it loads completely then i click on other Links/Tabs it loads the same page which is currently loading and does not redirect to the other link/tab clicked during the page load.

Also i observed when during the page load when i right click and open the link on other tab it opens the other link/tab . Also i observed when during the page load when double click on other tab/link it opens the link. It's only when i do single click it does not work however on othe rbrowsers it works fine.

Hmm, so you are loading page A, page B, and page C in different tabs. Your are on the tab loading page A and before it is finished, you single-click the tab for page B it shows page A in the tab, or in the address bar it shows the URL of page A before changing to the URL of page B?

In case this is a display glitch caused by some incompatibility with your graphics card/chipset driver software, could you disable Firefox from using hardware acceleration, restart Firefox, and test again?

"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced

On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"

This takes effect the next time you exit Firefox and start it up again.

Thanks for your prompt response. I am glad that you have understood the problem correctly. I had tried the solution you mentioned, but unfortunately it did not work for me. :(

Also this problem is across the Web Application and not to any specific tab. Please let me know if i can try any alternate solution to make it work.

I can't explain why a new tab opening page B would show page A if you had not previously opened page A in that tab. That doesn't make sense to me.
