Mac OSX 9.1, using Firefox 27.0.1. The internet conx I have is FibreOptic 40GB/sec.

Since this upgrade, Firefox duplicated my bookmarks without prompting.

the prominent issue is that after a few searches or url entries they all go just fine. Then I will type in google.com into the search bar, Firefox will grind at the search and hang.

If I quit Firefox and relaunch, type in google.com, the page is loaded instantly whereas before it would never find it. I also noticed that sometimes when i type in google.com, the progress window will show https://www.google.com. Odd that it would try to go to a secure version of the site!

This issue does not occur with any other site. It seems to only occur with google.com

Very annoying that I have to quit Firefox several times during a session to use google.com
