Downgraded to flash 10.3, still having major issues

It first started happening with the latest Flash. Randomly when watching YouTube videos (or any other video site that uses Flash) I'd have your typical crashes and freezes. However, it extended to more than just FireFox, it would cause constant freezes on my whole computer and anything I would do. It would continue even after I closed FireFox, forcing me to restart. It kept happening over and over and over again, so I downgraded to Flash 10.3. The problem disappeared for awhile, but then came back. Still on Flash 10.3, and seems to happen very often now. I thought it might be hardware problems, or a virus, or drivers were outdated. I checked everything, it's all fine and updated and scanned.

The problem only happens if I try to load any type of Flash video, be it from YouTube or elsewhere, and once it happens it'll keep happening until I restart. I found that by using Windows' "Boot with last known good configuration" it would stop the problem for a good few days, but then return, forcing me to restart and do it again. I re-updated my drivers and opted for nVidia's driver update instead of Sony's official driver for my nVidia card, but no change. I don't know what to do any more, and it's driving me nuts.

Try updating to flash 11.4. It was released today and may fix many of the issues in older versions of Flash. http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin.exe

Thanks guys, I'll upgrade to Tylerdowner's 11.4 and see if that fixes it. If the problem returns, I'll turn off hardware acceleration and see if that fixes it. I'll keep you updated. So far so good with 11.4.

It started happening again, even with 11.4. I had a YouTube playlist going on auto-play and the problem returned. I disabled hardware acceleration in Flash, and restarted. Here's to hoping it doesn't come back again.

Since upgrading to 11.4 and turning off hardware acceleration, the problem hasn't returned. Thanks guys!
