1 of sevrel firefox windows still open but can not be accessed
i use several firefox windows on windows 7. however, sometimes, when im using it, one of the windows will stop being clickable. it comes up as blank in previews off it on the task bar and alt tabbing on it dose nothing. its not a crash, becous when i try to close it, it warns me ive got however many tabs open. i can open new tabs in it by right clicking, and i can see what tabs are open in it from other computer synced with my fire fox account.

Does any content appear if you switch to another tab with the keyboard (Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+8 or Page Up and Page Down)?
Is there any code visible if you inspect the page source (Ctrl+U)?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

no content appares, tho the tabs change for sure, as the tital of the window in question does.
code appares for the appriate tab when i press ctrl+u
Does it help if you minimize that window to the task bar and then restore it?
Does F5 refresh the page and make the content visible?
Did you try Safe mode?
tryed safe mode (twice, becouse the first time i didnt turn off the theme). the first time, it was like i could see a corner of the window in question, but it still did not open up. the second time its back to just a blank, with an X for closing in the corner of the preview of nothing.
f5 dose not appear to do anything, minimising and restoring it dose nothing. sorry about this.
Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
