I've been using T-bird v60. I have four email accounts. I opened T-bird 68 (for Mac), and it apparently requires me to enter all my account info. Shouldn't v68 use my v60 profile?

Hmm, seems like multiple people are hitting this issue.

1. Can you describe in exact detail what you did to go from 60 to 68?

2. Do Help > Troubleshooting > click about:profiles. a) what do you see, and which profile does it say it is using and is the default? b) To get back to your original configuration you probably want to launch the first default profile in that list.

Thank you Wayne. To go from 60 to 68 (on my Mac), I simply quit v60, downloaded v68, and then opened v68. When I observed that v68 needed to recreate my accounts, I quit the application because I was certain that other stuff in my v60 profile would be missing from the new v68 profile. I am now using v60 again, with the correct (previous) profile.
