the green bar at the bottom of screen of inbox lights up fully for a moment then goes to quarter or less, and message on left of bottom of screen momentarily shows "downloading header of 1 of 3 messages", then goes blank. some messages do come in.

Thanks Matt The problem was caused by two malformatted messages. They have now been marked as read, so problem has gone away. Thanks for your efforts Bill
