These problems started when i installed windows 8 x64 on my pc's at home, with windows 7 x64 there were no problems at all.

The problem is that I can't copy/cut anything from Firefox and paste it in for example microsoft office word or notepad++ or anything ells.

I also i can't copy/cut anything and paste it in firefox itself.

This problem is in firefox 22.0, i also tryed 23.0 for now but the same problem is still there.

I am forced to use chrome now, as i need this function realy bad. I realy hope this can be sorted out as Firefox is my explorer for a long time.

Please help me

Chosen solution

You are right,

I completly sick of zonealarm, to much problems.

I will stick to Avira and Windows Firewall

Thanks all for fixing my problem.

Have a great day, god bless you

Will you solve this problem? Disabling ZoneAlarm helps, but I don't want delete ZoneAlarm - I've used this program many years.

I did something unthinkable, and it fixed the problem.

I went back to Firefox 18.0.1

problem solved.

I'm staying with 18 until Firefox fixes the problem once and for all.

rolling back to 21 would probably fix it too, but I prefer 18.

I'm still just moving forward in versions in the hope that a fix will come along.

The developers have created a fix for this problem for future versions of Firefox (Firefox 23+). Unfortunately, there's no immediate solution for Firefox 22. The current beta of Firefox 23 (as of July 13th) does not yet contain the fix. Probably the next one will have it.

thanks
