When I search ebay under "newly listed" the realtime stated underneath the auction items is now USA Westcoast not GMT.
I live in U.K. and I am logged on correctly to the ebay.co.uk. The problem started after my last Firefox update. (version 11) Safari still delivers the correct U.K. realtime when I access ebay. Firefox gives correct UK realtime with my email providers. The problem seems to be specifically between Firefox and ebay.

I am not an eBay aficionado, but here is what I found by Googling "ebay time" (quotation marks included).
From the first link below: "Official eBay Time is the time at eBay headquarters in San Jose, California in the United States."
