Please tell us, what profile names do you see there, and which one is in use?
Thank you very much for coming to my rescue! Remember, I am just above a beginner level knowledge. Here is what I see under settings: Server Settings: Local Directory: it is set on,
- 1v1jrkru.default.
It has these listed:
- ut2h1h12.default-release;
- zs1jcgrx.default;
- zs1jcgrx.default.sbd;
- zs1jcgrx.test
NOTE: I believe I changed this to 'test' when this happened the time before this occurrence several month ago. Local Folders: it is set on, zs1jcgrx.test. I am eager to learn how to deal with these type problems but can't understand how to use your help tools! I will anxiously await your response.

Your response, above confuses me! It says, I have reformated your last post so it is easier to understand. (Where did you put the reformat?) I looks like you didn't use my instructions (what instructions?) and instead visited server settings (I went to Tools, Account settings) Where are you putting your responses? I thought what I see here is your response; does it appear somewhere else? I don't understand how to use this support site - please help meI
I reformatted https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1272335#answer-1264752
Please re-read what I wrote at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1272335#answer-1264724 (there is nothing about "server settings" in about:profiles)
Profile: default Default Profile no Root Directory C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\1v1jrkru.default Local Directory C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Thunderbird\Profiles\1v1jrkru.default Profile: default-release This is the profile in use and it cannot be deleted. Default Profile yes Root Directory C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\ut2h1h12.default-release Local Directory C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Thunderbird\Profiles\ut2h1h12.default-release
You likely want to "launch" with C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\1v1jrkru.default
Does help > about indicate you are using 64bit Thunderbird??
Thanks, I think that fixed it!
Thanks for sticking with me; I am nearly 90 years old and it is a little difficult to understand computer geek talk. Have a blessed day!
