Unknown Icon in Address Bar

I've just started using Firefox and whilst online noticed an unknown icon on the left hand side of the address bar, this was next to the icon which has an i in a circle. I didn't realise at the time that if I clicked on in then details would be revealed. Does anyone know what this icon is? It didn't stay for long.

Hello houser01,

When Firefox is actively blocking media with sound on a website, you'll see a special icon in the address bar which is the icon that you're seeing.

Most helpful,

The ironic thing was that the websites I visited at the time never have any media or sound playing.

Could this have been a bug?

Weird ....

I'd wait and see if it happens again - you could always file a bug report if this keeps happening.

You mentioned that it doesn't stay long; maybe just a temporary glitch (fingers crossed).

Should you want to file a bug report :

Yes, very weird.

I'll keep checking

Thanks for your help
