I have tried downloading https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/user-media/addons/_attachments/2313/lightning-5.4-sm+tb-windows.xpi?filehash=sha256%3Ac9f5a7c85dc21c5c93570a67dcecd7a55385523c78de67e47a2eb0e2995f54f9 as well as https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/user-media/addons/_attachments/4631/provider_for_google_calendar-3.3-sm+tb.xpi?filehash=sha256%3Aef4bd5dbc6de369827c801fd64cc8b011e03fad528d57f987dba2cc316dff819 but when I attempt to install them my windows 10 home version 1709 does not know how to open the .xpi file. Lightning is not showing up on any of my tabs and when I try to add a new network calendar I do not get the option to select google. Any suggestions will be appreciated. -- John

Chosen solution

As an update ... by going to the https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/user-media/addons/_attachments/4631/provider_for_google_calendar-3.3-sm+tb.xpi?filehash=sha256%3Aef4bd5dbc6de369827c801fd64cc8b011e03fad528d57f987dba2cc316dff819 URL and installing it (as opposed to Lightning) I am now able to access my google calendars on TB. Thanks for the assistance. -- John

You do not open the file, you install it.

Since you already downloaded the file go to the add on tab and select Extensions. Click the gear icon and choose Install from file. Navigate to where you saved the file and install.

The easiest way is to go to the add on page, select Extensions, type Lightning in the search box and install.

Thank you for the faaast response. However, after going to the add on page, selecting Extensions, typing Lightning in the search box and installing and restarting TB I am still not able to access google calendars on the network. Going to TB-> File-> New-> Calendar-> Network only gives me the options of iCal, CalDAV, and Sun Java. -- John
