I attempted to update my privacy badger add-on and I am getting a notice that I must give permission to "store unlimited amount of client-side data? " How do I change to allow the permission for the update? Thank you.

Usually a little panel drops appears when an extension needs new permissions for an update and you can tell Firefox to proceed. Or you may need to go to the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
  • type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return

In the left column of the Add-ons page, do you see a category for Available Updates? If so, click that and check whether you can take care of the Privacy Badger update here.

Otherwise, click Extensions, find Privacy Badger on the right side, then click its More link to go to the detail page. Can you do it here?
