Using VHD, can I use Windows Easy Transfer Wizard to move Thunderbird and Firefox data?

I need to move my Firefox and Thunderbird data from a VHD file to a new computer which will be running Windows 10 Pro. Would it be possible to use the Windows Easy Transfer Wizard to accomplish this? If yes, would I use the transfer wizard to move the data before or after installing the programs?

I assume your VHD is an older version of windows.

It would easiest to simply copy the Thunderbird and Mozilla folders in appdata and place/replace them on the win 10 system. (I assume some technical skill here)

The root you will need to copy from and to is %appdata%. Typing that into a run box (Windows key +R) will open windows explorer to the relevant appdata folder for the version of windows

What is a VHD file? I somehow doubt that Windows Easy Transfer Wizard is of any use here. And it isn't needed anyway. All you need to do is to backup your existing profile and restore it on the new computer.
