My addressbook contains Chinese and Korean names. Their special characters get lost when I export the addressbook to CSV-files for the purpose to import them to Open Office.

Chosen solution

It's true that Chinese and Korean characters aren't maintained when you use the built-in export to csv, but I tried an example with the option provided by MoreFunctionsForAddressBook and it seems to work properly.

Select an address book in Address Book, then right-click, MFFAB/Export/as csv (.csv).

I read the description of that extension and didn't find this functionality, but it has it and it works FINE. Wouldn't it be nice, if storing in UTF8 format would be standard. Thanks a lot for the help.
