Where do I fins the "tools" so that I can copy and paste?
I have Windows 7, and I just downloaded Firefox as my default browser. I can't find the "tools" to copy and paste. I am on Facebook a lot, and I copy and paste articles and posts all the time. But I can't find the "tools" to copy and paste on the Firefox heading at the top of the page. Where is the copy and paste located??

You can use the Windows shortcuts:
- Ctrl+c to copy
- Ctrl+v to paste
And you can use the right-click context menu.
If you have the compact menus represented by the orange Firefox button, you will notice the word Edit with some icons next to it.
If you have the classic full length menu bar, copy and paste are on the Edit menu.
Finally, you can add icons to your toolbar if you prefer. You use the Customize feature. To call that up, either:
- right-click a blank area of the tab bar (or the "+" button at the end)
- View menu > Toolbars > Customize
The icons are not alphabetical, but you should find Cut, Copy, and Paste in there somewhere. Drag and drop to where you want them, then click Done. (If you get tired of them taking up space, open Customize again and drag them back.)
Can you find a method that works well for you?

You can use the keyboard shortcuts if the buttons on the web page or other methods aren't working.
- Copy: Ctrl+C or Ctrl+Insert (Mac: Command + C)
- Paste: Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert (Mac: Command + V)
- Cut: Ctrl+X or Shift+Delete (Mac: Command + X)
You can find the Copy, Paste, and Cut buttons next to Firefox > Edit (and in its sub menu) and in the regular Edit menu on the menu bar (press F10 if the menu bar is hidden).
The Edit text is always grayed, but the three buttons next to it should become enabled if there is something to do like Copy if text is selected.
You can hover the arrow at the right to get a menu with Cut, Copy, and Paste.
You can find the Copy, Paste, and Cut toolbar buttons in the toolbar palette in the Customize window and drag them on a toolbar.
- Firefox menu button > Options
- View > Toolbars (press F10 to display the menu bar)
- Right-click empty toolbar area

Thank you SO much for your answer to my question. I am not very "computer literate" but after fooling around a little bit, I was able to understand what you were telling me--Haha! I can now Copy & Paste with Firefox!! Yay!! Thanks again for taking the time to respond.
