Unfortunately no one on Firefox forum help user can help here. Once a account is lost there nothing more that can be done and if the reset fails then it's a lost account at this point.

You may be able to get access if you rest your password however anything you synced to sever will be lost. You may need your account recovery key though. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/im-having-problems-my-firefox-account#w_i-dont-know-my-password-how-can-i-set-a-new-password

If you have lost access to your two-step authentication device, then this article provides some options. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-if-im-locked-out-two-step-authentication

Do you still have access to the old device or have another device that is logged in ? Note that the Google Authenticator allows to copy/transfer its 2FA data to another device.

Without access to the authenticator app or recovery keys, your only option is to create a new account if you are locked out because of 2FA.
