Problem starting Firefox
Every time I open Firefox I am told to sign in to my Google account. I do NOT want to do this. How can this Google interrruption be stopped, please? Thank you

It could be that your start page offers Google sign-in and that is why the scripts in the page make that suggestion. In other threads, people have mentioned that the uBlock Origin add-on -- a top ad blocker -- can be used to hide the suggestion, but I haven't kept track of those instructions.
