I have marked "empty trash on exit" on all 4 of my email accounts. It doesn't work in unified folder view. Is that normal?

Empty trash is not available for unified folders https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=529229

Are you using beta? According to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1745205, empty trash on exit is apparently broken.
