For many years no problem now, suddenly, TB often says server timed out and sent email don't get saved, or I have to do a manual save. What's going on? Thanks

Added: Just tried to send an email, I get: Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors. You can retry or save the message locally to Local Folders/[email protected].

And now this (this is a new one): Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.tools.sky.com was lost in the middle of the transaction. Try again.

Are you using smtp.tools.sky.com on port 465, SSL/TLS security, authentication = normal password, and entering an app password? Do you have a security program scanning outgoing mail or SSL (secure) connections?

Yes to all except no to security program. Incidentally, since my post, all seems well! What an effect you have!
