Loaded Firefox, it crashed my computer repeatedly. And your Support Interface sucks. Goodbye.
Loaded FireFox. Crashed repeatedly. Uninstalled it. Then tried to contact Support. Labyrinthine mess to get to the point where I can ask a question. No chat support. Than I have to *register* to even ask a question about loading your product? Are you kidding me????????? Once upon a time Firefox worked really well. No more. I only created the account to say this: Goodbye.

It is rare for Firefox to crash your computer. This may indicate a severe device driver incompatibility, such as with your graphics card/chipset software. If you decide to try Firefox again:
(1) Check for driver updates: Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL
(2) Try starting Firefox in its Safe Mode: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
(3) If 64-bit Firefox can't run on your system, you could try 32-bit Firefox. Full installers are available on: https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
I appreciate your reply. I have been building computers since before Kermit FTP was The Next Big Thing. The issue I have with Mozilla is that the Support interface is opaque, reflecting poor regard for users. I was happy with FireFox for years, then fell away from it because I worked in an incompatible environment. Loaded it up on a brand new, updated system and got memory allocation issues and persistent crashes.. Trashcanned it and the system runs perfectly again. I was willing to look for solutions, but refuse to excavate into the website. Just don't have the time. Again, thanks for your kind reply. Mozilla should hire you to consult on their Support structure.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
While still ib Safe Mode,
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.
