Nuance NaturallySpeaking extension does not work in version 60 point?
after Firefox updated to the newest 60 point something version Firefox does not allow me to use Nuance NaturallySpeaking. It gives me an error code that I am unable to take a screenshot of. Basically it says it doesn't support this extension any longer. I have used Firefox for about 15 years but have had to change to Google Chrome which allows Dragon NaturallySpeaking to function. The people at Nuance said that Firefox must enable its use. Anyone have any answer for this?

Where did you get Nuance from? I can't find it in the Mozilla Add-ons site.
Have you contacted Nuance support?

Originally it was an extension or add-on in Firefox. When I received an update of Firefox version 60 I believe it stopped working. I now get, automatically, a window that says to load the extension. When I try to load it I get an additional pop-up it no longer can load. When I called Nuance for technical support they said that Firefox had to approve its use. The technician said that it was up to Firefox to add this program to its version 52 and up to current version 60. I am now using chrome because it supports Dragon NaturallySpeaking. When I tried to make a copy to send a link to you it did not copy the error boxes on my screen. I will try to copy that information another way and forward it to you. Is there a designated number for my question?
That's as far as I can take you.
You should continue your question in the add-ons forum; https://discourse.mozilla-community.org/c/add-ons
Try installing the Nuance Naturally Speaking WebExtension from here: https://dnsriacontent.nuance.com/13/setup/ffinstall.html?lang=ENX&browser=firefox
Up until Firefox 52 Nuance Naturally Speaking used a NPAPI Plugin to interface with Firefox; then that type of Plugin was deprecated. Now it seems that Nuance Naturally Speaking is using a WebExtension.
And if that doesn't solve it for you, contact Nuance for help with their program. They created that WebExtension and they need to keep it up-to-date with the web browser that they created to interface with.
