With the latest Firefox, how can I customize the view? I would like to change the folder images on bookmar toolbar... now it shows me the grey boring looking folders. I liked more the older version, where the folders were yellow. Also it would be cool to customize and even add other symbols...

I used to use 'Roomy bookmarks toolbar' on earlier Firefox... but with the latest, that add-on is no more suported, which is a big shame. Is there an alternative add-on to fix the bookmarks toolbar (basically to make the icons smaller and more near each other)?

Hi, you will need to use userChrome.css and this is good starting point - https://www.userchrome.org/what-is-userchrome-css.html

(Thanks to contributor Jscher2000 for the site).

If you don't find what you want there, have a look at https://www.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

thanks! I managed to change the folders back to the same look like it was earlier... but still didn't find a way to fix the bookmarks toolbar as I wanted. Maybe the answer is somewhere out there, just need to search and search...
