Could you first confirm that iTunes hasn't suddenly become your home page? As a test, try launching a new window using Ctrl+n. Does iTunes show up there as well? '''If no:''' If the problem occurs every time you use your desktop shortcut or pinned taskbar icon, check for a hijacked shortcut using the steps at the end of this post.
