Firefox crashes
Firefox has been crashing randomly for weeks. I am a developer, so I use other browsers frequently and often just need to get on with my work, so I've been ignoring the crashes until recently. I have uninstalled Firefox, following the guidelines on this website. I've tried running it in Safe Mode with Addons etc. disabled but it still crashes. I've uninstalled my screen drivers and reinstalled them, because I thought the problem might relate to that but it didn't help the issue. I develop web applications using VS2013, quite often Firefox crashes when one of these application is open in one of the Firefox tabs, I don't know if this is related and I can't find any reason why that would cause it to crash but I'm open to any suggestions of help.
Firefox has crashed 4 times today already, between 8:45 and 10:45 am. The latest crash report is bp-f04217f0-990d-4b5b-93c0-fc4092150707
Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks

hi JohnLeanConsulting2, i have filed bug 1181142 about this kind of crash, you could follow along there as well for any progress. the crash seems to happen in the JS engine of firefox but, it otherwise it's unclear to me what kind of workarounds could be tried here. could you also go into about:crashes and copy a couple of more recent ids and paste them here as well (just to check if all the crashes have the same cause or if there are variations in the signatures)? thank you
Hi Philipp

Hi Philipp,
Firefox just crashed for the first time today, so I thought I'd add the crash log, just in case it is helpful.

I won't upload any more unless you request it.
thanks, those are all the same type of crashes - some firefox engineers are already looking into a workaround/fix for this issue...
