Hello, I am using a new HP computer with Firefox as my main browser. I use two screens. I have had problems with Firefox for the past couple of weeks. I usually have a couple of windows of Firefox open. One on the first screen with multiple tabs and another on the other screen. I also run chat programs, Discord, Antivirus programs, Zoom, Slack, and a few others.

Firefox crashing has also crashed other programs. I have had Discord crash a few times and Displayfusion crash as well.

I updated FireFox to the newest version. I even uninstalled and then reinstalled. I updated Windows. Flash is turned off. My video drivers are updated. I checked for viruses and spyware. I did have some Bit Coin Mining malware detected, but it was quarantined last week. All scans now are clear.

Update Malwarebytes. If the problem continues, disable it.

more options

Okay. I will try this and get back to you. DO you have any suggestions for a MWB alternative?

more options

First, see if it is the problem. If it is, contact their support.

If you want, you can always switch to a different program. But if you have a subscription to Malwarebytes, let's see if it can be fixed.

FF crashed again today. I have stopped MWB. I had a couple FF windows open but was using Chrome to purchase something online. FF stopped and it crashed the DisplayFusion app I have running at all time. Here are the crash logs:

Firefox updated to the new version as soon as it reloaded after that crash. I will keep you posted if I have any more issues. Thanks!

MemTest LAST UPDATED : 12/04/2020 Could you please run a tool from http://memtest.org/ in order to check the integrity of your RAM?

You will need a thumb or disk drive to install it on.

Do you let Windows handle the page file or did you set a fixed size ? If you use a fixed size for the page file then try the former and let Windows handle the page file.

Thanks for your reply. I did just update the game-ready graphics driver, but this was the second time in a week or so that the driver needed to be updated. The page file is set to "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives"

I am looking into the RAM integrity issue now
