I have a recovery key, but it seems to be associated with a different account that I don't have access to, is there anyway I can still access the information?

I created a new account, but when the key is verified it says that the account name/password is incorrect, is there anyway for me to find out what e-mail/account name the sync is associated with maybe?

Did you ever generate a new sync key for that sync account?

When you create a new account then Firefox will generate a sync key, so you should see such a message.
If you however connect to an existing account then you need to enter the correct sync key for this account yourself (I don't have the device with me).

I had to to a factory reset on my PC, I was under the assumption that all I needed to to recover my firefox data was enter the recovery key, however when I attempted to do that, via the "I don't have the device with me," it rejected the username/password combo.
