Delete key deletes email I just read AND the next one. Why and what can I do to make it just delete active one again?

When I read an email and then hit "delete" key, I lose next email also. It's deleting 2 at a time instead of just the active one.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
