I have been using firefox since the beginning on my Mac G-5 until today when I was asked to upgrade my browser I did so and now I can't geet firefox as my browser anymore. I s there a way to reset to the old version? I really enjoyed using Firefox.
I can no longer get Firefox to work on my Mac G5 computer since I excepted the last suggested upgrade today. Now it says that it is not supported by this computer. I would like to know where to go to get the older version that I had been using 9.0.1 is not working for me.

Beginning with Firefox 4, Macs must have an Intel x86 processor (yours is a PPC Mac) and OSX 10.5 or higher (which you do not have).
The good news is that Firefox 3.6.x still supports OSX 10.4 and Macs with the PPC Mac architecture. The bad news is that support for the Firefox 3.6.x series is likely to end in the first quarter of 2012.
- System requirements: Firefox 3.6.x
- Download Firefox 3.6.x: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

You can try the third-party product TenFourFox that supports PPC Macs with OSX 10.4.11 and OSX 10.5.8. Firefox 9 version of TenFourFox is available. The product is based on Firefox released versions. All support is provided by the developer, not by this site:

Thank you the problem is fixed back the way it was started. I can work with it now at least until my old computer can't take it. At first I was getting the same result until I used the 3.6.x link that you provided and that restored my computer to where it was before the update. Thanks again!
