Why does Firefox not open the website (or searches Google) anymore when I type a word?

In the last version of Firefox, when I typed a word (e.g. 'amazon' to go to amazon.com) it directed me to the website instantly most of the time, if it didn't it would redirect me to Google search results for the word I typed. Now when I type a word (here: amazon) it shows this: jar:file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox/omni.jar!/chrome/nl/locale/browser-region/region.propertiesamazon

Firefox 4.0 changed the pref for that, this extension will restore it.
