Image attachment thumbnails are incorrect

I've noticed lately that when I view recently sent emails that have images attached, the thumbnail previews of these attachments below the email are incorrect. They show attachments from months ago. Not a big deal, but it is annoying.

My bigger concern is something is corrupt in the mail files. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Is everything else working okay? Please respond in more detail on what you mean by 'thumbnail previews.' I'm inferring that recent emails are showing attachments that you used in the past with prior emails. Puzzling.

As far as I can tell everything else is OK. Yes, sorry for not using the right term – the attachment previews that appear below an email will show a different attachment from a previously sent email.

This does not happen all the time though. Also, it seems to happen with primarily email sent to one or 2 people (both at the same domain). And, the incorrect attachment preview shown is always the same one (from an email sent back in September). If I double click on the attachment preview to view the attachment, the correct attachment does show. It seems to only be these previews.

I went ahead and repaired the folder where these messages are stored. Maybe that will help.

Well, now this error is happening with other domains and other folders. Very odd... I just hope my email is not somehow being corrupted or something.

I'm puzzled. you might try reinstalling TB.
