Thunderbird labels all Gmail junk, from contacts, frequent senders, all. Gmail does not label this mail junk. Windows Mail Live does not label my incoming mail junk. This happens on both a Win 10 desktop and a Win 7 laptop. All boxes on account settings relating to junk are un-checked on both computers. Clicking "not junk" on one computer eliminates the junk label on the other. This has been going on for several weeks, but not before. I can't tie it to a particular update.

what is happening and how do I fix it?

do you have a filter that sends certain mail to junk. One that is not correct and is sending everything to junk. Or an anti virus program that have an anti spam or phishing thing installed which makes a mess of everything. They are really the most common causes of all mail appearing in junk.

I found no info on Panda Dome forum that related to my problem. Nothing is sent to junk folder, everything appears in my inbox with a junk warning.

Have you set up Junk Settings for that account in Thunderbird? If no then I suggest you do it. You can choose any address book as a whitelist. Choose the imap gmail 'Spam' folder as location to hold 'marked as junk' emails. Then train the Junk controls. It is important to mark junk as Junk and also to mark thoe not Junk as 'Not Junk' in order to train this special junk filter.

re :Clicking "not junk" on one computer eliminates the junk label on the other. That's because you are using imap. Imap emails are stored on the server. Imap accounts show a virtual view of what is on server. Imap folders synchronise with server. Whatever you do on one computer is updating the info on the server, so when another computer accesses that account via imap, it will show what is on server. That also includes when you delete emails or move emails to other folders or mark emails eg: as Junk or Not Junk.
