I updated to the latest version this morning (45.0) Since then when I want to send an email TB does not auto suggest email addresses. Previously in an To: field if I entered a then a drop down would show a selection of available email address's

Has something changed or have I missed something that needs setting up?

Also 'Lightening' vanished and no new version appears to be there?

Regards Kevin

I've tracked down what could be the cause... Below email sent to Softmaker ... After some time I have tracked down a problem with TB 45.0 where the auto fill in of email address's when writing emails has ceased to function. This appears to be caused by the use of ' Faster autocompletion of e-mail addresses 1.0.25'. Once this was disabled the address's auto fill started to work again.

Are there any updates coming to fix this?

Only if your add-on author issues an update.

HI , Just had update from Softmaker there will be an update later today.

Regards Kevin

Just received from Softmaker:

We have made an interim release of the add-ons available. "interim" means that we know of a few cosmetic issues, but the add-ons otherwise work.

Go into Thunderbird, Tools > Add-ons, click on the Gear icon and check for updates.

Just tested and it is working ok (V1.0.26) For Softmaker users only I think.
