The copy of Firefox I was using was accidentally removed from my iPhone, and I can not locate the same version in the app store.

It had the capability to save files in a local file storage system. It was also able to connect to Google Drive, Onebox, for transfer to their respective clouds.

I would like to get this version back.

Thank you.

It does not sound like you were using any product by Mozilla, perhaps you downloaded and installed something with a similar logo to Firefox but not actually the product we at Mozilla have made.

It was a Moz product. There was a $0.99 version with a lot of bells and whistles, then a less functional alternative which is what appears now.

We never and will never charge for a product. It still sounds like you downloaded an unofficial product.

These are the only two official Mozilla products on iTunes, as in Firefox and Focus by Firefox where you can see the author is Mozilla. https://itunes.apple.com/ca/developer/mozilla/id380366936

As said Mozilla does not charge for anything Firefox on any place.

hmm not easy to search iTunes without using a search engine site or iTunes app to try and find the app you may be mistaking was from Mozilla.

You should be able to sign in to the app store and view your purchases. In addition, if you tap on the updates tab in the app store, there is an item called "Purchased". You can use that to find out which app it was there you used.

From there, you can visit the app in the app store, and there you will see who the maker is. Then you'll see that it wasn't offered by Mozilla. ;)

That's okay. The Puffin Browser solves the problem just fine.
