Firefox crashes
Mozilla Firefox 33.0 started crashing every time I open it after a minute or so. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing it with no luck. Also tried a system restore as I had upgraded AVG to 2015 around the time it started crashing but still no luck even after the system was restored. It also crashes when I try to run it on safe mode and with add-ons disabled.

Hello and welcome to our community,
First of all I suggest you to try the following steps:
a. Try to disable AVG 2015 and open firefox, if it crashes try step b.
b. Disable AVG 2015 completly from windows startup doing the following: start -> type msconfig -> go to startup tab -> uncheck everything that has to do with AVG 2015 -> Apply -> OK - > Restart. After restart try to open firefox again, if it crashes try step c.
c. Start firefox if you have some time before it crashes , press Alt -> Tools -> Options -> Go to Advanced Tab -> Uncheck Use Hardware Acceleration -> OK. Close and reopen firefox. If it still crashes then please can you tell me which operating system u use and some of your computer specs.
Let me know if some of these steps solve your problem, ty.
Hi imvolunteer,
Thanks for the prompt response. Unfortunately, all 3 options did not make any difference :(
I'm on Windows 7 64 bit, with a i7-930 processor, 4gb RAM, AMD HD 5700 graphics and SSD hard drive.
thanks
Scan firefox for Malware ,it seems that there is some addon/toolbar installed which causes this crash. (Bugs showing Yandex bar is one of toolbar which causes for the crash.) Use any Good Scanner malwarebytes or Microsoft Security and scan the system. Try uninstalling incompatible toolbars/plugins from firefox.
