Firefox warns always when closing multiple tabs, even when respective setting is cleared. "browser.tabs.warnOnClose" (and "browser.tabs.warnOnCloseOtherTabs" too) are in "false" state. The same behaviour after reset. Firefox 32.0.3, OS - Linux Mint 17.

What is the value of browser.showQuitWarning ?

It was in "true" state. Firefox did not show warning on quit when I reset this parameter, but it was in "true" state again after restart.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

I checked it. The behaviour is the same: "browser.showQuitWarning" returns to "true" state.
