I hate the latest version of Firefox. If I wanted to use IE and Chrome, that is what I would use. Now I have to find another browser because Firefox now sucks.

Did you hire a bunch of people from Windows and Google? What were you thinking? This is the worst!!! The look is annoying. The removal of the Menu from the top, why? And now all my bookmarks go to some 'Unsorted' folder where I have to go open the folder and manually move them. It is so far from intuitive any more I doubt my mother, who is in her 70's, will be able to manage it. I had her use it as what I considered to be the most secure browser but this is just too cumbersome even for me to deal with.

If you're missing the menu bar, just right-click in an empty space along from your browser tabs and select Menu Bar from the drop-down list.

When you go to Bookmark a page, you need to choose the location to save, and Firefox will remember that as the Default next time.

It does not ask where I want to save it. It just sticks it in an unsorted folder. Thank you for telling me how to get the Menu Bar back. That helps. But, I still intensely dislike this whole new 'look'. Additionally, the last 2 versions cause crashes when I am using apps that launch java. It just seems Firefox is getting worse and worse with every 'update'.

Do not attempt to use the new Bookmark star to the right of your search bar.

Now that you have your Menu Bar back, go there and click Bookmarks, followed by Bookmark This Page. This gives you the Bookmark box with the option to select a folder to save in.
