Not sure exactly what is going wrong. Obviously Firefox should save settings and changes and does for me and most user.

You have lots of extensions. As a troubleshooting step try firefox in safe-mode and with all plugins disabled. Does it then work ok ?

The Firefox Reset should solve the problem but read the article first you will loose open bookmarks and all add-ons. You may wish to bookmark open tabs and add-ons home pages.

Hello, as John99 said in his above reply, you have lots of extensions, see also : Remove the preferences file

thank you

You have a user.js file which can cause problems with saving prefrences.

i think we will just be removing firefox from or pc! it just sucks that nothing works right! i agree with apple tech hehe

Firefox works for most users and your problems can probably be fixed. You hare a lot of add-ons and Plugins will you not miss them moving to another browser?

You may now find these links of use

Good luck with the new browser.

ty so much! it sucks cuz i really like it and u know what sucks the 19.0.2 never had this issue same addons so i wonder who is to blame

Unless you wish to join in with a bit of troubleshooting we will not discover what the problem was.

It is however probably safe to say: "Any problem is more likely to relate to your own setup than to any general Firefox problem."

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode (Never Remember History).

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
