google search window and web sites have small fonts. How do I increase the size of fonts without using zoom tab everytime I open firefox?

Try clicking Tools>Options>Content, then changing the font size to a larger size. I hope this helped.

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.

Try the Default FullZoom Level extension:
