When I press my customized Home Page button I want only the customized pages to open and all other open pages to be closed
I have customized my Firefox Home Page button to open 2 pages (pages A + B) Every time I press the Firefox Home Page button I would like only pages A + B to remain open, and all other open pages to be closed Is this achievable?

Hello Colin Weakley,
When you press "Ctrl + N" that will open your homepage in a new window, but that is not what you want ....
Would you take a look at this add-on and see if maybe it will do what you want (?):

Hello McKoy Thank you so much As you say, your solution solves 90% of my problem (If only "Ctrl + N" opened my homepage in the same window and not new window) I did install the add-on you suggest, and now my problem is 95% solved. I will stick with it and maybe post to the developer's forum the last final step that I require You have been a great help
Hello again Colin,
As I didn't manage to completely solve your problem - I've been thinking :
What if you just close all open tabs (closing X in the upper right corner) and then click the Firefox icon on the taskbar, as at startup Firefox opens your homepage ?
It's still not what you asked for, but close (just one extra click).
But then : you're probably already doing just that ......
Hello McCoy That's almost what I'm doing I now click 'Close Other Tabs' from the add-on that you suggested and then if I want my 'Custom URLs...' I press the 'Firefox Home Page' button Same result, but also 2 clicks You have been a great help a lot, thanks so much
Note that there is a rather dangerous 'Forget' feature that should be used with care and that clears recent history and cookies and closes all open windows and opens a new window with the home page(s). The smallest time frame for clearing history is five minutes, so in cases where you do not mind losing history you can consider using this Forget button.
Thank you cor-el
