When I open a bookmark, and finish, Firefox shows my history, instead of returning to my bookmarks.
I trade in a few stocks and at work like on my break like to quickly check out on my cell how those stocks are doing. I open my bookmarks and click to see the first stock location, then in closing out that page, Firefox doesn't return to my original location to my Bookmarks so that I can see the next stock, but take me to my Firefox "History," which is inconvenient and time consuming because I then have to click the back button and get back to my Booksmarks to see the next stock. Is this the way it's supposed to work? I don't want to go to my History, why is Firefox taking me there?

Go to Settings -> General -> Home -> Panels and check, what is your default panel. It should be "Top Sites" or "Bookmarks".
You can even remove the History panel from the home page.
