Of course the flash videos and the audios work. That is true.

The question at ahnd is ---

Why is it that when at the website, I have to manually activate the Adobe Flash videos, and do so despite the fact that the Shockwave Flash plug-in is set as "Always Activate" ?

Whether I set the Shockwave Flash plug-in option as, "Ask to Activate", or if I set it as, "Always Activate", the results are the same.

In either case, the Flash videos are NOT active, and remain NOT active unless I proceed to manually activate them.

Did you have to manually activate the Adobe Flash videos? If not, then what are our differences ?

Ok. Got your point. On other pages at the outersecrets web site, a light grey menu appears at the top of the screen and remains there as it asks the viewer if he/she wants to activate the Adobe Flash.

However, at the ( http://www.outersecrets.com/real/biblecode2a.htm ) web page in particular, the light grey menu appears only for a brief moment and thus the viewer is not given the time to read it, nor respond to it ???

All they could do was say, "What was that", and that's about it. ???

Ok, i am not running a virtual machine so not going to uncloak myself even for a religious site.

I also do not see a menu where you say there is so am afraid will have to wait till someone else views the site.

I will say though in general if a site has to ask you to turn it on it is not probably wise to do so.

Ok, old page, code for HTML 4.01 and has not been update since 2012. If go to the page then right click and look at page source code a bunch of flash movies listed and other pages It is very old java script he is using as refers to Netscape Navigator in the code.

Ok, I guess it is discrimination against the elderly code when it comes to the today's computer programing world.

The Outersecrets website was written by someone who had no computer HTML or JAVA software knowledge at all. All the writer had ever seen was the BASIC and BASIC+ languages of the 70/ 80's. Thus programming became a "learn as you go" process. Also, due to lack of cash, it was written via the use of nothing but freeware programs and an outdated Intel 486 computer.

Oh Well.
